Making Butter

Making your own butter is super simple and easy.
Ingredients
All you need is cream with a high fat content. Such as whipped cream
Instructions
Pour cream into mixer and beat.
As the cream starts to thicken, the liquid will separate.
Remove the liquid as you go along. This is buttermilk. You can save this for baking.
Eventually you will be left with clumps of butter.
Remove the butter from the bowl and make it into a ball with your heads
Rinse with cold water. Keeping in mind that the more you handle the butter the more it will soften so try not to handle it too much.
You may add a pinch of salt as well toward the end or after its been shaped. This is optional
Shape butter, wrap with plastic wrap and store in fridge.
